Ascertia provides following types of free certificates valid for one year.

Free Test Certificates

Ascertia provides electronic identity (eID) validation and digital signature creation, verification, timestamping, secure archiving and secure email products.

All of these depend on the use of cryptographic keys and digital certificates.  In order to make it easy to test drive our products we provide free test certificates.  These are issued to anyone with a valid working email.  You should not trust these certificates for any formal business use.  The Root CA used for issuing these test certificates is not pre-initialised in browsers, you can download it using the button on the left.  Click here to get your own free certificate now. 

Commercial Certificates

To provide trusted e-business communications commercial certificates are required, typically these are obtained from a Certificate Authority (CA) which is pre-initialised within popular browsers.   As part of the certificate issuance process various background checks are made to verify the owner’s identity.   Ascertia has contacts with various commercial certificate service providers.
