What's New in v5.2.0
The latest version of Ascertia Docs v5.2.0 provides these new features:
- Added support for initials fields, allowing users to add their initials on every page or against specific paragraphs of the document. The system will ensure that users complete their initials fields before being allowed to apply their digital signatures.
- Document owners can now add attachments of any file type to their document before starting the approval workflow. Each user’s digital signature then covers all the attachments also thereby protecting the whole document package.
- Added another user type called “reviewers”. These reviewer users can approve a document without having to digitally sign it. The reviewers may not even open the document and can approve a document directly from the My Desk area.
- Improved the signing dialog allowing easy use of dynamic signatures as well as text signatures (aka font signatures) and uploaded signature images directly at the time of signing.
- Allowed ability to enable/disable the use of the company logo within the digital signature appearance.
- Provided support for SSL Client authentication to authenticate users and enable access to their accounts, rather than use of username and passwords.
