Global: Ascertia announces Ascertia Docs interoperability with high trust local digital certificates
Ascertia announces that it has successfully tested its cloud-based document sign-off and approval workflow application,Ascertia Docs, with multiple Public Key Infrastructures in Europe the US and Asia where smartcard keys with high trust PIV and eID certificates are used. The long-term PDF signatures have used either local TSA servers, CRLs or on-line OCSP servers to provide the necessary timestamp and certificate revocation data. This means that companies wanting high trust individual PDF digital signatures created by local smartcards or USB tokens can now use Ascertia Docs and their local PKI. The long-term signature produced by Ascertia Docs are good for up to 25 years depending on the CA. Ascertia Docs supports Adobe Rooted CDS and other certificates from GlobalSign, VeriSign and Entrust, Adobe AATL and other certificates from QuoVadis and SwissSign, plus eID and other certificates from DigitalSign and Certipost. Other certificate service providers can be readily supported as required.
