    The latest release of Ascertia Docs features optimized viewing/signing and allows easy integration with existing web applications. Ascertia’s on-line document workflow and signing service, SigningHub.com has been updated and is powered by Ascertia Docs v5.5.     Netherlands: JustID extends the use of ADSS Server

    The Netherland Ministry of Justice (JustID) has extended the capabilities of ADSS Server by ordering support for more trusted CAs and more signing tablets from Signotec and SOFTPRO. The new ADSS Go>Sign Applet will be used to deliver these advanced options.

    ADSS Trust Monitor released

    Ascertia has now released a new product – ADSS Trust Monitor – this combines a new ADSS Server based version of OCSP Monitor with the well-proven CRL Monitor. All the existing benefits of ADSS Server accrue, such as a secure web-based interface, alerting using email, SMS, SNMP, Log4j approaches, optional dual control and advanced reporting. Existing OCSP Monitor v2 customers will be upgraded as part of their support service contracts.

    ADSS Server v4.6 released

    The latest release of ADSS Server has been released with a completely new ADSS Go>Sign Applet architecture that uses an ADSS Go>Sign Service on ADSS Server to control the increasingly sophisticated functionality of Go>Sign Applet using easy to configure ADSS Server profiles. Also supports Turkish characters, able to enable/disable storing input/output documents in the verification service and other minor improvements.

    USA: Ascertia partners with Velvetech in the USA for document signing solutions

    Velvetech (www.velvetech.com) based in Chicago has signed up as an Ascertia reseller for the USA focusing on document and data signing solutions, especially those requiring integration with bespoke document management systems as well as SharePoint, Alfresco and Documentum. An initial customer delivery is already in process.

    USA: SSA orders ADSS CRL Monitor and ADSS OCSP Monitor

    The Social Security Administration has evaluated and selected Ascertia’s trust monitoring products to enable them to ensure that federal PKI infrastructure services are operating effectively. Ascertia is the only company to offer such advanced CRL and OCSP monitoring products.

    ADSS SCVP Server is FIPS 201 compliant

    ADSS SCVP Server has been FIPS 201 certified and is now on the GSA Approved Products List #682. It is Federal PKI PD-VAL certified and the first SCVP product to pass the updated SHA-2 NIST PKITS path discovery and validation test suite and thus demonstrably meets the RFC 5055 SCVP standard for full path validation of X.509 e-ID certificates.     ADSS Server and ADSS Go>Sign Applet supports e-signatures using Wacom signing pads

    ADSS Server and ADSS Go>Sign Applet v4.5.6 now support the use of signature pads/tablets so that end-users can draw their own hand-signature and have this immediately captured. Ascertia has integrated with the Wacom STU LCD signature tablet and captures the hand signature image and places this within a digital signature field on a PDF. This is in addition to the hand signature image options. Ascertia’s first user for this is JustID in the Netherlands so that citizens can sign documents and have them notarised to record the date/time of signing.

    Almerys has evaluated and selected Ascertia’s products to provide essential trust services for their managed health service solutions in France. ADSS TSA Server provides trusted timestamps for inclusion within archived data records. ADSS Archive Server provides refreshable long-term evidence archive records to show that information remains original and unchanged during its archive retention period.

    Global: Ascertia's SigningHub.com selected by GlobalSign for document signing & workflow

    GlobalSign selects Ascertia’s SigningHub.com solution to provide a unique solution for aiding internal document workflow and digital signature approval using high trust certificates. The ease of use and ability to create long-term signatures using high trust GlobalSign certificates were a key part of the decision. The Enterprise service plan assigned enabled 30 senior staff to sign important documents using GlobalSign’s USB Token based keys and certificates and GlobalSign’s Timestamp authority.

    UAE: Al Hilal Bank selects ADSS Server to power bank trust services

    Al Hilal Bank in Abu Dhabi has selected Ascertia’s advanced PDF Signing products to provide core trust services to protect customer documents against unauthorized change. ADSS Signing Server makes it easy for core banking applications to access PDF signing services. Ascertia was also selected to supply Secure Metric's Secure OTP tokens to strongly authenticate client login and signature requests.

Support for multiple keys within an HSM, easy integration using ADSS Client SDK and support for standards including OASIS DSS and ETSI advanced electronic signatures for both signing and verification were key decision criteria.

    Norway: Commfides Norge AS selects Ascertia Docs (ADocs) for document signing & workflow

    Ascertia and Commfides Norge AS have agreed to work as solution partners in the Norwegian market. Commfides will provide cloud-based document workflow and signing services using Ascertia Docs (ADocs) and ADSS Server products and leverage the existing trust infrastructure and client base that Commfides already has in Norway. The ability of ADocs to work with the existing high trust USB based keys and certificates issued by Commfides and the ability to work with PDF and PDF/A documents and provide ETSI PAdES Part2 (as well as Part 4 and Part 5) long-term signatures were key selection criteria. Ascertia will work with Commfides to ensure that ADocs fits the Norwegian market requirements including the checking of national IDs.

    Europe: QuoVadis selects Ascertia OCSP Monitoring tools for its high-trust validation services

Many OCSP providers have no service monitoring tools and the first they know of a problem is when a customer raises an issue.     Europe: Ascertia selected by COMTEC NET for Digital Signature and Long-term Archive Services

    Ascertia has been selected by COMTEC NET SRL to provide the digital signature and timestamp services that underpin its next generation of e-business services. COMTEC NET is headquartered in Bucharest and specialises in providing EDI services and e-Invoicing solutions. Ascertia ADSS Server was selected to power the digital signature creation and verification services and timestamp based Long-Term Archive and Notary Services (LTANS) needed to satisfy the legislative demands for on-line business. The relevant legislation is Romania’s Fiscal Code law 571/2003 the EC recommendations 1994/820/E. Ascertia was selected because of the strong support ADSS Server provides for ETSI PAdES and XAdES signatures on PDF documents and XML data, and its ability to secure such data in a long-term well-managed archive solution.

    Europe: Ascertia speaks at GITI conference in Georgia

    Ascertia was invited to speak on the subject of “Leveraging e-ID trust Infrastructure for Business and Citizens” at this year’s GITI conference in Tbilisi, Georgia. Supported by local partner Next Generation Technology (NGT.ge) Ascertia spoke at the conference and in various meetings afterwards about the importance of having an effective digital signature framework that enabled and supported the types of interactions that are most important for government, financial and other interactions with corporate, retail and citizen interactions. Such a framework allows effective digital security measures to enable new online services, particularly using cloud based solutions which can be enhanced and extended as needed and thus provide much greater flexibility than local software.

    Iceland: Ascertia powers Skyrr’s SaaS PDF signing solution

    Skyrr hf has selected Ascertia’s ADSS TSA Server, ADSS PDF Server and ADSS Go>Sign Applet products to power their signing service solution for the Icelandic market. Using ADSS Go>Sign Applet and ADSS Server enables PAdES, XAdES and CAdES long-term signatures to be created on a variety of documents for Skyrr’s government, financial and other clients. These security services build on the trust provided by the Icelandic National ID infrastructure service that also uses Ascertia ADSS OCSP Server, OCSP Monitor, CRL Monitor and test tools.
